This years presidential election is a big deal. We could elect our first African American president. Barack Obama.He is also a Democrat. His running mate is Joe Biden a Delaware Senator. Obama himself was a Junior Senator from Illinois.
Obama is running against John McCain a Republican. McCain's is a Senior Senator from Arizona. His running mate is Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. I personally don't know anymore than that about the presidential campain. I should pay attention more but I just don't. I will not be 18 in time for the upcoming election so i really have no say in who will be president. But I really don't know who i would vote for, so....best of luck to both canidates.
