Coaching

Being the head coach of a Spcial Olympics Basketball team means alot to me. I will take you through the six steps of coaching a Special Olympics Basketball team.
First you take a 45 minute long educational course. It teaches you about the players and how to handle them. Then, Meet the team. When you meet the team, make sure you are very friendly.
Before starting practice always be sure you have a game plan. Know what you will do to keep them occupied for the full hour. For example: Layups, shots etc…Fourth, during practice always be positive. You have to encourage them and help them. Remember always be patient. It is the key to the whole thing. You have to clap a lot. If they say they can’t do something, you tell them they can. Example: Dawn or Andy when they say they can’t do something.
Fifth, Don’t just tell them what to do, show them. Give lots of examples. If you tell them to do a chest pass, you walk them through it, show them how. (give example…..) Last, for the last ten minutes of practice play a game. Play with them if you have too.

What it all boils down to is believing in them, making them believe in them selves, and of course patience.

Prison Lady, and the baby.

Well, first off why would you rob a bank when you are three months pregnant. Obviously you know you are pregnant so why would you rob a bank and think you could get away with it. It's just not very smart.

With that said, I think that she should be given fairly loose visitation right to the child until it is two years old. Then when the child is three then more strict visitation rights should be applied.The woman should be allowed to raise her own child. However, I do not agree with her raising it what so ever from the prison. She should be allowed to leave the prison under police escort to visit with her child.

In conclusion, the woman doesn't deserve much leniency when it comes to raising her child. She acted in the wrong when she knew she was pregnant.

Illegal Immigration

Illegal Immigration is a big problem in the U.S. The U.S. should tighten up on border patrol. Border securtiy is pretty good as it is but illegal immigrants are still getting in. Along with these illegal immigrants comes drugs, and crime. Immigrants in the US are taking jobs from the US citizens. This is completely insane. These people sneak illegally into the US, smuggle in drugs, take jobs and in some cases kill US citizens.

Since May 2006, 12 US citizens have died at the hands of muderous illegal aliens each day. Also if border security had been more strict there would be know one to smuggle 80% of heroin,marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamines into the US. Illegal aliens that are in the hospital are ahead of US citizens. These people don't even bleong in the US and here they are being taken ahead of US citizens that need medical attention. It's just not right.

In conclusion, the regulations on Illegal immigation should be more stirct. Not only around the border, but in actual commuinities. If they don't have a VISA or legal pass to be here get them out.

Bill and Bob

Bill in my opinion is wealthier. He has a family that he spends time with and can provide for them. Even if he is sometime just scraping by. Also with is odd jobs and steady jobs he still finds time to give back to his community. He volunteers when he can. Bill has more wealth that Bob becasue Bob has alot of money but there is no way he can be happy. He is divorced and hardly ever sees his family. Bill has a family, and even though he has it tough sometimes he has to be way happier than Bill.

Governmental Bailout

I don't think that having the tax payers have to pay the bailout. Yes the government is going to help the people with their mortgages. It is not fair for all the big shots of the large comapnies to go out and spend spend spend, while some people are just scraping by. They are making more money in a few years than some people make in a lifetime.Why should the people have to pay for these guys screw ups. It doesn't make sense.

But 700 billion dollars is not going to be for sure used. From what i understand the governement can use up to that. But the money is not taken from a pool of money. It is used to buy mortgages and assets then sell them later at a higher price.

2008 Election

Barack Obama, our nations new elected president. Other issues in Michgan were voted through also like Medical Marijuana,and Stem Cell Research. I personally didn't really pay much attention to any of it. I did though stay up and watch NBC to see who won. I do think it is great that we have elected the first African American president. It is something different and i know people are afraid of the unknown. But alot of people also think that he will do great things.

Now, the issue of Medical Marijuana is helpful to those who acctually need it. There will be people who abuse it. That is a sad fact but it will be hard to overcome. doctors will have to pay more attention to who is trying to get the drug.

Prop. 2 is also going a little bit to far. It lets cloning happen and you can mess around with the embryos. There will possible be embryo farms where they have just embryos to screw with. I don't think it is right.

Negative Campaign

I am sick of everytime I turn on the TV there is a polotical campaign on, negative or not. It is really annoying because each canidate is always slaming the other with their new economy plan and other things. This kind of discorages me from wanting to vote. The canidates are constanly bombarding people with this and that...its okay every once and a while but when every other thing you hear is something about McCain of Obama. Now i am not saying that polotics should be nice but sometimes it is a little bit to much.
