If I was President

If I was president this country would be similar to as it is today. One of the first things I would look to do is speed up the rebuilding of Iraq and other surrounding countries that we are in. Once a stable government was developed I was start removing troops. I would also give more grants to public schools. Some public schools are under funded and need more funding.

Also gas prices are getting way too high. Gas prices in Michigan right now are ranging from $3.59 to $3.97. Now that is still high but not as bad as it was in the beginning of the summer. They were above $4.15. Price per barrel of oil in July exceeded $140. Over the rest of the summer they continued to drop and by August 13 they were at$113 per barrel. My solution to this is to give more funding towards making fuel efficent cars e.g. hydrogen fuel cells. I would do this to make these vehicles more readily available to the public.

As far as the White House goes I would cutomize it so that it would fit me better. I really enjoy playing tennis so I would deffinetly add a tennis court to the White House yard and probably add a basketball court to it also.
